BSC Brief | 14.10: The VN-Index continued to face correction pressure.

MARKET OUTLOOK
The VN-Index continued to decline by more than 14 points (-0.85%) in today’s session and closed at 1,704.87 points. Market breadth skewed negative, with 11 out of 18 sectors declining. Real estate posted the steepest loss, followed by chemicals and industrial goods & services. On the upside, basic resources led the gains, followed by insurance and information technology. Regarding foreign trading, foreign investors recorded net selling across all three exchanges: HSX, HNX, and UPCoM. Currently, the RSI indicator (30.67) has moved close to the oversold zone, while the VN-Index is retreating toward the psychological support level of 1,700 points, suggesting that the market may see short-term technical rebounds. In the coming sessions, the VN-Index may continue to test demand around the 1,700-point area. If bottom-fishing demand is successfully activated at this level, the index could form a technical rebound and retest the MA10 resistance level around 1,735–1,740 points. Conversely, if this level is breached, the market’s next support area would move down to around 1,667 points.

• Foreign investors' net selling value: VND -772.68 billion on HOSE, including VIC (VND -153.05 billion), VHM (VND -151.99 billion), FRT (VND -94.28 billion), FPT (VND -67.38 billion), TCB (VND -63.21 billion). Foreign investors were net sellers on HNX with the value of VND -2.97 billion.
