Highlights
• Investors were still cautious today, causing the market to fluctuate in the morning. At the beginning of the afternoon session, blue chips increased sharply and supported VN-index.
• Stocks with the biggest gainers included VIC (+4.45 points), VPB (+1.70 points), VNM (+1.54 points), MSN (+1.1 points) and VRE (+0.28 points).
• Stocks led the market down including GAS (-4.2 points), VNM (-1.17 points), PLX (-1.04 points), SAB (-0.75 points) and BID (-0.75 points).
• Bluechip stocks pulled back cash flow and became the main support for the index. In the opposite direction, the Penny stocks after yesterday excitement session narrowed its uptrend momentum.
• The trading value of VN-Index in today session reached 5,003 billion VND. The trading range was at 14.59 points today. Market breadth was positive with 159 advancers and 121 decliners.
• Ending today trading session, the VN-Index gained 11.89 points, closing at 1,124.15 points. Along with that, HNX-Index increased 0.54 points to 126.14 points.
• Foreign investors today were selling VND 114.24 billion on HOSE with VRE (VND 51.5 billion), VJC (VND 47.8 billion) and DXG ( VND 44.56 billion). In addition, they net sold VND 1.09 billion on the HNX.
 
Market Outlook
The market was fluctuating from the session-start with no active trading sentiment. The green color was more widespread in the early afternoon when stocks of banks and largecaps all broke out, becoming the main driving force for the index. Specifically, VIC, HPG, VNM, MSN and PLX. Today's CPTPP information also has a slight impact on the direct beneficiaries such as FMC, TCM, and TNG. The liquidity decreased significantly compared to the previous sessions, indicating that investors are still cautious with the market's rhythm. BSC analyzed that at present, the market was lacking positive information to be able to identify a cleared trend.
