Market outlook
The sideways trend at the 1,285 level of the VN-Index has not yet ended. By the end of the session, the index closed at 1,285.46 points, remaining nearly unchanged from yesterday. The market breadth leaned towards negativity, with 11 out of 18 sectors declining, led by the Basic Resources and Financial Services sectors with the sharpest drops. On the other hand, the Media sector continued to lead the gains today. In terms of foreign transactions, foreign investors were net sellers on both the HSX and HNX exchanges today. In the upcoming trading sessions, the market will need a directional candlestick and supportive liquidity to confirm the trend.
