Detailed report

MARKET OUTLOOK
VN-Index was still unable to surpass the previous peak of 1,696 today. After a rebound in the morning session, selling pressure at this level pushed the index down to 1,685. Buying demand helped the index recover slightly before declining to close at 1,680.90 points, down more than 4 points compared to yesterday. Market breadth tilted negative with 12 out of 18 sectors declining, led by Real Estate and Construction Materials. Regarding foreign trading, today foreigners were net buyers on the HSX while net sellers on HNX and UPCOM. The tug-of-war around the previous peak with wide fluctuations has not ended, so investors should trade cautiously.
