BSC Brief | 19.11: The VN-Index experiences volatility as it approaches previous resistance zones

MARKET OUTLOOK
The VN-Index maintained a mixed pattern of consolidation and decline in today’s session, closing at 1,649 points, down nearly 11 points from the previous day. Market breadth tilted negative with 17 out of 18 sectors declining, though the key sectors recorded only modest losses. In contrast, Basic Resources was the only sector that ended the session in positive territory. Regarding foreign investor activity, the group recorded net selling across all three exchanges: HSX, HNX, and UPCOM. The consolidation pattern continues to dominate at this stage, particularly as the VN-Index approaches previous resistance zones. The market still has room to move toward the 1,680–1,700 range in the coming sessions, though such moves are likely to be accompanied by volatility. Investors should remain cautious and closely monitor market developments.
