Market outlook
The VN-Index traded in the range of 1,275 – 1,285 points today before closing at 1,285.32 points, up nearly 3 points from yesterday. Market breadth was relatively balanced, with 10 out of 18 sectors rising. The Insurance led the gains, followed by the Basic Materials. Regarding foreign trading activity, foreign investors were net sellers on both the HSX and HNX exchanges today. The VN-Index is likely to continue consolidating around the 1,285-point level in the short term.
