Market outlook
The VN-Index declined right at the opening of the morning session and traded within the range of 1,265 – 1,275 throughout the day before closing at 1,275.80 points, down more than 8 points compared to the previous session. Market breadth leaned towards the negative side with 14 out of 18 sectors declining, led by the Information Technology, followed by Financial Services, Real Estate, and others. On the other hand, the Oil and Gas had a positive trading session. In terms of foreign transactions, there was net selling by foreign investors on both the HSX and HNX exchanges today. The VN-Index has started showing signs of shifting its trading range to a lower support zone, and investors should trade cautiously in the coming sessions.
