Introduction

Cotec Construction Joint Stock Company (COTECCONS) is a Vietnam-based company engaged in the construction industry. It constructs infrastructures, traffic works, irrigational works and water supply and drainage systems, installs electrical, heating and air-conditioning equipment, as well as provides designing services. The Company also invests in real estate projects and provides real estate brokerage services. Other operations include hotel services, inbound and outbound tourism services and the manufacture of construction machinery and construction materials. As of December 31, 2008, 51.3% of its revenues came from construction of manufacturing and industrial buildings. The Company has seven affiliates.

Cotec Construction Joint Stock Company (Coteccons) officially operated as a joint stock company in 2004 under the name of Contec - Coteccons Construction Joint Stock Company with initial charter capital of VND 15.2 billion under business registration No 4103002611 issued by Ho Chi Minh City Department of Planning and Investment on Aug 24, 2004.
In Oct 2006, charter capital was adjusted for the first time to VND 35 billion.
In Jan 2007, charter capital was adjusted for the second time to VND 59.5 billion.
In Jun 2007, charter capital was adjusted for the third time to VND 86.2 billion.
In Jul 2007, charter capital was adjusted for the fourth time to VND 120 billion.
On Jul 13, 2007, COTECCONS trademark was registered at the National Office of Intellectual Property of Vietnam.
On June 2009, charter capital was adjusted for the fifth time to VND 184.5 billion,
On Dec 09, 2009, COTECCONS was approved to list its shares on Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange. The first trading date was Jan 20, 2010.
In 2010, its charter capital was adjusted to VND 307,5 billion.
In 2012, its charter capital was adjusted to VND 422 billion.
