Sai Gon Port Joint Stock Company operates a seaport that primarily serves the import and export needs of the southern region of Vietnam. The company was formerly known as Saigon Commercial Port and changed its name to Saigon Port Company Limited in July, 1975. Saigon Port Company Limited was founded in 1860 and is based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. As of Dec 31, 2016, it operated as a subsidiary of Vietnam National Shipping Lines.

  • In 2007, the one-member Sai Gon Port Company Limited became a 100% state-owned company of Vietnam National Shipping Lines (Vinalines).
